Fantastic DIY Brio Chuggington Trains

Last week I got an email from a chap names Jens from Denmark to say that he had made some Brio Chuggington Toy Trains for his 2 year old son and after seeing his creations below I think you have to agree that they are truly fantastical!

Some seriously great skills are shown here in the creation of these do it yourself Brio Chuggington Toys. I wonder if we will ever get the chance to have some real Brio Chuggington Toy Trains or at least some trains thats are compatible with the Brio Style track, I know lots of companies make this track nowadays. I know Learning Curve, the company making the coming Chuggington Toys makes some Thomas the Tank Engine trains but I'm not sure if they have any plans for these, time will tell.

Here is what Jens had to say about why he created these excellent toys for his Son...

Chuggington is also aired in Denmark so since autumn our two year old son has been a great chuggington fan. He already had a Brio wooden rail and a host of Thomas and friends engines. However, his greatest Christmas wish was the beloved Chuggington characters. So, I had to tune up on my woodworking skill to add a few chuggers to his railway. I could salvage the undercarriage from some anonymous Brio trains.

The train body was carved out from a piece of wood and airbrushed. To add some life to the train I glued on some rolling eyes from a hobby shop. Then Koko, Brewster (Bruno on the Continent), Wilson and old chugger Pete were ready to go under the Christmas tree. Our son was estatic, but to my amazement he insists on calling the green train Kalli.
