20+ Chuggington Diecast Toys Plus More Toys Confirmed!

Hello my fellow Chuggington Fans! I've just heard on the PR grapevine some great news that you are all going to love. Finally we have some confirmation about the long expected New Range of Chuggington Toys!

I'm sure your like me and have been eagar to hear some news about some Chuggington Toys, well finally we have some information! My Son still loves Chuggington, he loves loads of other kids shows too, but he plays with his train set every single day and like most little boys his age he loves trains and Chuggington!

So without further adoo here is an excerpt from a recent Press Release from Learning Curve, you can read the full version here, but here are the juicy bits!

Learning Curve Brands, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of RC2 Corporation and a leader in creating innovative toys for children of all ages, announces the international launch of its Chuggington toy line.

Inspired by the new, train-centric series, Learning Curve's Chuggington product line includes an initial focus on a range of action-packed playsets and collectible die-cast engines. The line will soon be available in international markets, notably in the UK, Germany, France, Japan, Australia and Canada.

Capturing the show's unique look, excitement and energetic characters, Learning Curve's initial Chuggington toy line delivers time-honored train play while reflecting the key destinations and core developmental messages of the feature-quality CGI series.

The line also offers preschoolers a chance to take part in the adventures of the show's three young trainee engines: Wilson, Koko and Brewster.

Key items from Learning Curve's initial Chuggington toy line include over 20 die-cast engines, the Launch & Go Roundhouse Playset, the Fix & Go Repair Shed Playset, the Wilson Carry Case and the Training Yard with Loop Playset. Two additional exciting new product lines are planned for introduction later in 2010.

The Chuggington Toys line will be launched in the US in 2011.

So there you go I think you will agree its fantastic news! Unfortunatly I don't have any images to show you yet, I'm hoping learning Curve send me some soon, I can't wait to see what they look like, as soon as I do I will post them on here and send a message out to the Chuggington Toys newsletter list. If you see any images on the internet please let me know so I can get them on the Blog!

it will be fantastic to see chuggers in the shops… they have been on my sons wish list for months now.
    thanks

Not til 2011 for the US?!! That is a real bummer! They introduce it to Disney in January of 2010, get our kids hooked, and then don’t offer any merchandise for an entire year? That is extremely disappointing :(

  • Chugger

It is isn’t it, hopefully they will release them soon, but its unfortunately exactly the same time frame as it took them in the UK too. Chuggington has been on the telly here for over a year and there are only coming out in March 2010.

    Hi,

I just bought a Brewster from a department store in Singapore. There was no Koko or Wilson as they were out of stock!!! My son was so happy with it! He also bought 2 other Chuggington trains which I couldn’t remember the names!

  • charley new zealand

awesome news. i hope they will release a range of battery trains similar to the trackmaster thomas line.

my son loves the new dicast trains, he has brewster, Koko, Wilson, Action Chugger, Chatsworth, Puffer Pete and Emery as well as some breakdown cars, he loves them, but due to his age is chewing on the plastic connectors like crazy, why did they make them plastic again??? We’ve been hunting around EVERYWHERE for chuggington merch. Easter was great as they had those buckets full of eggs with chuggers on the sides, and we found a clock too. The train sets are just too old for our son, so we got the plain track pack and the colouring in book. Have had word that slippers and sneakers are coming in next week and have put our name down so i know i’ll get his size… Geez, he’s just like your son, he’s in love with the show. he won’t watch anything else. He is only a small boy and i am having sooo much trouble trying to get him clothing. there is some available but from size 3 and up. (he is only a size 1 at the moment) they need a great clothing line to come out (like the huge Thomas range) in very small sizes, a great jacket or cap, or rain coat would be cool. My son’s biggest wish is a backpack i am waiting for a nice sturdy one in better material, the one out now has such cheap thin plastic i fear it would last foughtnight at best. They have to remember that kids are so rough with stuff.
Thank you for blogging about the new v-tech. i will be saving from now on….
