Hi would love to buy these toys
Pls contact me to buy these toys
They look great!!!
Just in time for my little chugger’s birthday.
Thanks for the updates!
hi,
How big will these toys be?
I’m not 100% sure as I haven’t seen any yet, but I think if they are like the Thomas Learning Curve toys they will be 2-4cm tall.
I wonder if these toys be compatible with the Thomas and Friends wooden railway?
Hi, I’m going to to get in touch with Learning Curve this week and try and get some answers for you
hi
do you know if they will be doing a take along range? that will be compatabile with the thomas take along??
oooo, they look like they may be compatible with the wooden Thomas track! That would be perfect! Any idea what month they will be launched?
ta x
Do you have any idea how much these toys are going to cost individually?
I think they are in the region of £5+
so fairly reasonable.
My son has just seen this page (only 2) and is already very excited to see Chuggington toys…
Thank you so much for the info. I am watching in great anticipation for more. I have one highly addicted 4-year-old here. =)
What an awesome new Train Group….My son loves Thomas and Friends so this I am sure will be his newest LOVE once things start showing up on the store shelves. Please email away anything you have to buy or advertise to buy at the stores. Thanks ahead of time!!!!!!!!!
My son LOVES Koko! I hope these are released before the end of March, in time for my little one’s birthday!
Hi! I was wondering if the release time is for the U.S.?? I’ve seen one article that states the toys release in the U.S. will not be until 2011, which seems a little unreal to me. Another thing, have any of you heard/read anything about party accessories? My son’s birthday is in June and would LOVE to have a Chuggington party!!
I’ve not seen anything yet but as soon as I do I will update the site, I’m goign to try and make a section for each country ie UK,US,AU,CA so I can list all of the products available and where you can get them. Yes the wait for toys for you guys in the US is weird, although it was a similar wait in the UK as Chugginton has been on the telly here for over a year already.

Hi is you add yourself to my mailing list I will email you when i know some more
Can’t wait to buy these for my 4 year old and 2 1/2 year old. Please let me know when they are availble. Will the Chuggington trains fit on the Thomas and Friends wood track?
Thanks so much for all of your information!! My 3yr old is crazy for chuggington, the only problem I have is that the Disney channel only runs it in 15 minutes shows!!! Not even enough time to clean the kitvchen!! Thanks for the updates, will be curious to see when they will be available for sale in the US.
Do you have a estimated day the toys will be available?
Hi, I am thrilled that there is a Chuggington Site like this. I am looking for toys for my train lover. I don’t mean to sound stupid but you say your two year old has been enjoying Chuggington for quite awhile. I am in the United States and Chuggington just came to us on January 18, 2010. It was advertised as a new series from Disney. When did it come to you and where are you? My son loves trains in general so I knew he would be a fan and naturally would want the trains to play with. But I was surprised to see such a following after only a couple of weeks on the air.
Emily Roseo USA
Hi Emily really glad you like the site! I’m in the UK and Chuggington has been showing on our TV for well over a year. I’m not sure if they have changed the show at all for Disney or if you are seeing episodes we have seen or not. There has only been one series of Chuggington and it was about 50+ episodes and was shown in the UK, AU and I think CA as well.
You can pre order a few of the toys on Amazon website for 1st March 10
Hey Thanks for the info Kayla, I’ll get some links up I was planning on redesigning some pages today! Perfect timing.
Are they Thomas compatible?!? They look like they are!!
I think So ?
Not 100% but I think they are made by the same people
I thought that quite a few here would be interested in this Email I sent to Learning Curve:
Are the new Chuggington trains coming out going to be compatible with the Thomas wooden railway? Thanks!
REPLY from Learning Curve:
Thank you for your email.
The Chuggington Trains will be compatible with other wooden track lines and that includes Thomas. Because the trains may be different heights the trains my not fit under all destination and bridges.

Whooo hoo!
Hey thats great news, we’ve got loads of brio style track so hopefully they will fit! Many thanks for thinking of us here at Chugtoys
We have just got these diecast trains in australia and I bought 3 today. I can confirm that the wheels are more narrowly spaced than wooden thomas/brio etc. ie, they are not compatible. not sure if it will fit thomas take along as we don’t have any of that at our house. i will be taking my chuggington trains back to the store for a refund. very disappointed as i have been eagerly waiting for these.
I knew it
thats a real shame isn’t it… We have a few of the Learning Curve, Thomas toys and I knew they would be the same as them. very frustrating, but many thanks for taking the time to let us know Jessica. My son still loves his Thomas toys and the fact they don’t fit the tracks properly doesn’t spoil his enjoyment at all though.
Any idea if they will be doing anything for younger kids? My son is just 1 and loves the show.
Thanks
As soon as I hear of anything new Chuggington related I’ll post it here on the blog
For those who care, I talked to Learning Curve here in Illinois last week and she told me they will not be available here in the U.S. until late this year/early next. Unbelievable. I told her by the time they are here, everyone will have them already thanks to something called the internet and those who don’t, will probably have moved on to something different by then anyway. LC’s loss.
Have just bought some here in the UK. Quality OK – only problem (and I think this is one Learning Curve will regret) is they are not compatible with the wooden “Brio” type rail – the wheels are literally 2mm too narrow. Will not be buying the track, my little Action Chugger gets just as much pleasure whizzing them round the floor – but if anyone happens to know anyone in the manufacturing company ask them to make them slightly wider – The Thomas trains are compatible – just makes life simpler.
Chuggington Rocks!
Just got Wilson, Harrison and Dunbar from the range and yes they fit on the Take Along/Take-N-Play Thomas track from Learning Curve because its really wide
Just got Hodge with Hopper Car from this range and yes they fit on the Take Along/Take-N-Play Thomas track from Learning Curve because its really wide.
Hello from Australia! My son is 20 months and a huge chuggington fan, the toys have been released in Australia just a few weeks ago, there is almost 20 trains and carriages in the range and i’ve already hunted down all but 3 – ive just got to hide them until christmas at least as the toys are 3+ – the trains look well made the only disappointment is the train coupling fitting – rather than the magnetic blocks we are all familar with from the thomas take along and bob the builder take along etc they are a ball and cup style fitting which looks to be plastic – looks fiddily for little hands – but as a parent of a chuggington fan i overlooked this and got them for my boy who will love them regardless – until then we will just keep watching our series one chugginton dvd set over and over again! Something else i noticed in the shops here which may intrest thomas train fans is that learning curve no longer make the thomas take along ive seen them now made by Fisher Price – they look to be slightly smaller in size – keep an eye out in stores ive grabbed some thomas at clearance prices lately!
Went to toys r us at the weekend and so disappointed to find that the Chuggington trains are too narrow to fit onto any wooden brio style train track. We have neither the space or recourses for another train track so talked him into a different toy for Easter, he left the store quite happy but I felt disappointed that we couldn’t get him some of the trains to add to the train collection we already have. We would have built up the whole set had it fit
Its a great shame. We also have loads of Brio track as well and its so frustrating… my Son does still enjoy playing with them though!
Do you know if there will be any Vee toys?! I thought for sure she would be part of the Roundhouse toy but sadly I don’t see her on the picture. I’m having to buy trains through ebay currently here in the U.S. Anxiously awaiting more availability of locations and items! Thank you for your site!
I’ve not heard anything about a Vee toy, sorry Terra, If I hear anything I’ll let you know! Thanks for your kind words about my site
PLEASE come out with them in the States. My son is a Chuggington NUT! He has turned all his Thomas & GeoTrax trains into Chuggers.
Can you tell me if these trains are motorized? Thanks!
Hi Janet, no sorry they are not
