   Hello. I just wanted to say what a great site you have. I have a son that just turned 2 in December and we live in the United States (East Coast) and the show just premeired here in January and I have been recording each show. My son just loves this show and the first they he says in the morning is Chuggington–thats all he wants to watch all day long! I have never seen him get so excited over anything like this before, he does not seem to care if he watches the same episode 10 times in a row! I was curious to know if there where any toys-specifically train sets available for purchase in the US. I hope they have something or will be coming out with something that is compatable with Brio or Thomas The Tank. I recently found that a toy store common in the US-not sure if there is one in the UK- Toys-R-Us has a train set that is compatable with both Brio and Thomas The Tank it is the stores brand-Imaginarium—-nice set, not quite up to the detail as Thomas, but a lot cheaper than Thomas. I would like to start collecting the Chuggington characters for my son. I was not aware that this show originated in the UK, its good to know that it is a popular show and that there are some merchandise available—I just hope I can find it in the US or able to order online. THANKS AGAIN FOR HAVING A LOT OF GREAT INFO AVAILABLE ON ONE SITE—-VERY USEFUL.

     Thanks for your great comment Amy! Yes Chuggington is a UK Show but its great to see you guys now can see it, my Son has loved it for ages. I’m working on getting some pages up for you guys in the US to find some Chuggington things to buy and as and when I hear anything about the Toys coming out in the States I’ll let you know

     I’m not 100% sure that they haven’t changed anything for you guys over there, like voices of names of characters. Do they have American Accents? In The UK version they are all English Accents. Thanks for your kind comments!

   I am in the USA too and my (almost) 3year old is a huge fan. I was hoping to get my hands on some Chuggington items by his birthday at the end of the month. Sadly, Amazon in the UK will not ship to me and as we know these items are not available here. I hate to have to buy him a different brand set for his birthday and then get him the Chuggington one when/if it becomes available. Any ideas? Somewhere else I should look that will ship to me?
   I appreciate any help/direction you can give me.
   And, yes our version have American accents.

   Hi there. I looked up both the pj’s and the toys, but couldn’t see any way to get them sent to the US. Do you know if there are any places retailing these items to the US? Thanks! My guy just loves Chuggington!!!

     Things are slowly starting to appear in the US, but unfortunately like they were in the UK its all coming very slowly! I’m keeping my eye out for you all though, if you have a look on the US Chuggington Shop page ther are lots of things on eBay in the US.

   I will be traveling to London and Paris the end of May for a week can you please tell me the best place to buy chuggington toys. I will not have a car so I can always get the toys sent to my hotel. I have not been able to find them anywhere here in stores. Also I read that I have to be careful of buying dvds because they are formatted different than the U.S.Is this true should I not buy any there? Thanks for your help, Kathy

     Hello Kathy

     Well you have two options IMO, you could order them from an online store such as Amazon.co.uk or toysrus.co.uk (see my UK Chuggington Shop page for the links ) Or you could go to a local toy shop in London, near your hotel and I’m sure they will have plenty in stock. I know Hamleys have just started stocking them so that may be a good place for you to go. I don’t live in London my self so its a bit difficult for me to give you a definite shop to go to.

     Regarding the DVD’s yes if you are buying UK versions they will be region 2, US DVD players are generally Region 1, but if you have a multi-region DVD player it will play the UK version fine.

     Hello Heather

     I don’t actually stock the toys myself I just refer customers to the best place to buy them. In doing so I receive a modest commission. If you see my Chuggington Shop page you will see some links where you can buy them in the US, but they will be imports as the toys are not officially out in the US yet.
